Flexcoil PU Tubing (Spiral Polyurethane Pneumatic Tubing)
Flexcoil PU Tubing
This is not a straight air tube.
It is a coiled PU tube. You can pull it out when the tool or machine part moves, and the tube can come back after use.
That is why many people use it around air tools, workbenches and moving pneumatic equipment.
Why Use a Coiled Tube?
A straight tube can be too long on the floor or around a machine.
It may drag, twist or get caught by nearby parts.
A flexcoil tube keeps part of the tube in a spring shape. When extra length is needed, it stretches. When the work is done, it takes up less space again.
Where It Is Used
Use it for pneumatic tools.
Use it around workstations.
Use it on automation equipment where the air line needs to move.
It is also useful when the tube should not hang loosely or lie across the floor.
Material Point
The tube is made from PU material.
PU gives the tube flexibility and wear resistance.
The spiral shape helps with return movement, but it should not be pulled beyond its suitable working length.
Size Choice
Check the outside diameter first. The fitting must match this size.
Then check the inside diameter for air flow.
Also check total length and coil inside diameter. These two details affect how far the tube can reach and how much space it takes when it is not stretched.
Before Use
Do not pull the tube too far.
Avoid sharp edges that may scratch the tube.
Keep it away from high heat or direct flame.
Check both ends after installation to make sure the fittings are tight.
