PX Series Y Type Threaded Tee Push-to-Connect Fitting

PX is a Y style fitting for air tube work. It is normally used when one threaded port has to connect with two tube lines. The two outlets are not arranged like a square tee, so the tubes can turn away from the fitting in a softer direction.

This part is often chosen for small machines where the piping space is not very generous. If two tubes need to leave from one valve or manifold port, PX can sometimes make the layout look cleaner than using several separate fittings.

The two blue collar ends are for tube insertion. The metal threaded end is the side that goes into the equipment port. When choosing this fitting, the tube size and the thread size both need to be checked.

Size Notes

In the metric list, the number before the dash is the tube outside diameter in millimeters. In the inch list, sizes such as 5/32, 1/4, 5/16, 3/8 and 1/2 refer to inch tube outside diameter.

The code after the dash refers to the thread size. Please compare it with the actual valve, cylinder, manifold or machine port before ordering.

Installation Notes

Cut the air tube neatly before pushing it into the fitting. If the tube end is badly cut, the seal may not be good. After inserting the tube, pull it gently to confirm that it is held.

Use the metal threaded section when tightening the fitting. It is better not to twist the plastic body strongly. After the air line is connected, check the two tube outlets and the threaded side for leakage.

Typical Uses

PX fittings are used in pneumatic panels, small automation equipment, valve connections and cylinder air lines. They are mainly useful when one threaded port needs to divide air into two tube directions.
