KQ2 Type tube-to-tube and multi-port push-to-connect fittings are used for connecting pneumatic tubes, changing tube direction, splitting air lines, blocking tube ends, or joining several tube ports in compact air systems.
This KQ2 type page covers tube-to-tube fittings and multi-port fittings used in pneumatic air lines. These models do not mainly connect to a threaded machine port. Instead, they are used between tubes, or at the end of a tube line, depending on the fitting shape.
The series includes straight unions, elbow unions, tee unions, plug-in fittings, branch fittings and tube plugs. Common models include KQ2H, KQ2L, KQ2T, KQ2T-W/X/Y/Z, KQ2U, KQ2UD, KQ2D, KQ2LU, KQ2P and KQ2R.
In real installation work, these fittings are often used when a tube route needs a small change without adding a metal threaded adapter. A straight union can join two tube ends. An elbow union helps the tube turn in a tight space. Tee and multi-port styles are used when one air line needs to be divided into two or more directions. KQ2P is used as a tube plug when a tube end needs to be closed.
Each port is a push-to-connect tube port. The tube can be inserted by hand. When it needs to be removed, press the release ring and pull the tube out in line with the fitting. Before fitting the tube, cut the end flat and check that the outside surface is clean.
When choosing a model, check the tube outside diameter first, then confirm the body shape. Some models may use the same tube size but serve different installation purposes. For example, a straight union and a tee fitting can both use 8 mm tube, but they are not used in the same tube layout.
