Stainless steel stop one-touch fittings are designed for pneumatic lines where tubing may need to be disconnected without leaving the air passage open. KCC, KCU, KCV and KCL provide straight, union and elbow connections for different piping layouts.
Removing a tube from an ordinary pneumatic fitting can leave the air line open. These stop fittings add an internal shut-off structure at the connection point. When the tube is disconnected, the mechanism helps close the passage and reduce unnecessary air loss. This is useful on assembly equipment, test fixtures and pneumatic systems where tubes are changed or removed during routine work.
The series includes four body styles. KCC is a straight tube-to-thread fitting for connecting tubing directly to a threaded port. KCU is a straight union type for joining two tubes. KCV provides a tube-to-tube elbow connection, while KCL combines a 90-degree tube outlet with a male thread.
Straight models suit open installation areas and direct tubing runs. The elbow versions are more convenient when the tube must turn near a cylinder, valve or machine panel. Choosing the correct body style helps keep the air line shorter and reduces unnecessary bending around the connection.
These fittings are intended for compressed-air service. The working pressure range is 0 to 0.9 MPa, with a proof pressure of 1.32 MPa. The applicable ambient and fluid temperature range is 0 to 60 C. Metric and inch tube selections are available, and the threaded models cover several commonly used thread sizes.
Before ordering, confirm the model, tube outside diameter, thread size and required installation direction. KCC or KCL should be selected when a threaded port is required. KCU and KCV are intended for tube-to-tube connections.
