SMV / SMY Pneumatic Quick Coupler Manifold

A workshop may need to run more than one air tool from a single supply point. Constantly removing one hose to connect another wastes time and places extra wear on the coupler. This compact manifold provides several sockets from one inlet, keeping the air connections together in one place.

The SMV version has two quick coupler sockets arranged in a V-shaped body. The SMY version has three sockets in a Y-shaped layout. Both versions use a compact metal manifold body with individual quick-release sleeves at the outlets.

Connecting Air Hoses

Insert a compatible air plug into the required socket until it locks. Before disconnecting a hose, shut off the air supply or release the pressure according to the system’s operating procedure. Pull back the coupler sleeve carefully and keep a firm hold on the hose.

The plug and socket profile must match. Similar-looking quick couplers are not always interchangeable, so the coupling type and nominal size should be checked before ordering.

Typical Uses

SMV and SMY manifolds are commonly used with air blow guns, impact tools, spray equipment and other workshop air lines. They can also provide temporary branch connections during machine installation or maintenance.

Installation Notes

Place the manifold where the connected hoses will not be sharply bent or pulled sideways. Check every connection for leakage when air is first supplied. The combined airflow required by all connected tools should remain within the capacity of the compressor, supply hose and manifold.
