LLDPE Pneumatic Tubing
LLDPE Pneumatic Tubing
LLDPE tubing is made from linear low-density polyethylene. In daily use, people usually choose it because it is soft and easy to handle.
It is not a stiff tube. When a line needs to go around a corner or through a narrow space, this material is easier to arrange by hand.
When to Use It
Use this tube for low-pressure air lines, water lines, simple liquid transfer, test equipment and small machines.
If the line carries chemicals, check the liquid first. Some chemicals are fine with LLDPE, while others are not suitable.
Size Check
Start with the outside diameter. This is the size that must match the fitting.
After that, check the inside diameter. A larger inside hole allows more flow. A thicker wall gives the tube more strength, but the inside hole becomes smaller.
Color Choice
Clear tubing is useful when you want to see the liquid inside.
Colored tubing is useful when several lines are installed on the same machine. Different colors make it easier to trace each line during maintenance.
Before Installation
Cut the tube end flat. Push it into the fitting only after the cut is clean.
Do not bend the tube sharply beside the fitting. If the system uses higher pressure, heat, or chemicals, check the working condition before using this tube.
