KQ2 Type Threaded Push-to-Connect Fittings
This KQ2 type group is for pneumatic tube connections that need a threaded side. The fitting is usually installed on a valve, cylinder, manifold, air tool, control panel or other machine port.
The range includes several common threaded body shapes. KQ2H and KQ2S are straight connector types. KQ2F is used where a female threaded connection is needed. KQ2L and KQ2W are elbow styles for turning the tube near the port. KQ2LF is the female elbow style.
For branch layouts, the page also covers KQ2T, KQ2Y, KQ2E, KQ2U, KQ2V, KQ2VF, KQ2VS, KQ2D and KQ2LU. These models are used when the tube route needs to split, turn, or connect more than one tube around a threaded point.
The specification image below shows the available tube and tube and thread combinations for each KQ2 type model. Please confirm tube size, thread size and body shape before ordering.
The tube side uses a push-in connection. The threaded side is fixed to the equipment port. Because the models do not all use the same body shape, it is better to check the product drawing, tube size and thread size together before ordering.
Before fitting the tube, make a clean square cut. Push the tube into the fitting until it sits firmly. If the tube needs to come out later, press the release ring first, then pull the tube out straight.
When choosing a size, do not look at the tube outside diameter only. The thread size and the installation direction also matter. For example, a straight connector and an elbow may share similar sizes, but they solve different layout problems inside a machine.
