PD Series Male Run Tee

PD is a male run tee fitting. The straight tube path continues through the fitting, and the threaded side is installed into the equipment port. It is useful when an air line needs to pass along the machine while one threaded connection branches from the side.

The catalog lists PD in metric and inch tube sizes. Each size code combines the tube outside diameter with the thread code after the dash.

Size Notes

Metric tube sizes are shown in millimeters. Inch tube sizes are shown in inch measurements. Check both the tube O.D. and the thread size before ordering.

Installation

Cut the tube straight before inserting it. A slanted or scratched tube end may cause leakage. Push the tube fully into both tube ports and pull back gently to make sure it is locked.

For the threaded side, tighten it with a suitable tool on the metal part. Try not to twist the plastic body too hard. After connecting air pressure, check the tube ports and the threaded connection for air leakage.

Where It Is Used

PD tee fittings are often used in pneumatic panels, cylinder piping, valve connections, compact machines and general compressed-air systems. They are mainly chosen when a tube line needs one side threaded connection without making the piping messy.
