PG Series Different Diameter Straight Union Push-to-Connect Fitting

A PG straight union is used when two pneumatic tubes need to be connected in a straight line but the tube sizes are not the same. One side accepts the larger or smaller tube size, and the other side connects to the matching tube on the opposite side.

This fitting is useful when a machine has air lines with different tube diameters, or when a section of tubing needs to be adapted during maintenance. Compared with adding several fittings to reduce the tube size, a PG reducing union keeps the connection shorter and easier to arrange.

Both ends use push-in tube connections. Cut the tube ends flat before installation, then push each tube fully into the fitting. After insertion, pull back gently to make sure the tube is locked. To remove the tube, press the release ring and pull the tube out carefully.

PG reducing straight unions are commonly used in pneumatic control panels, automation equipment, packaging machines, textile machines and general compressed-air piping. They are suitable for PU tube, PE tube and compatible pneumatic tubing where a straight reducing tube-to-tube connection is needed.
