PH Series Universal Elbow Push-to-Connect Fittings

PH Series fittings are universal elbow push-to-connect fittings for pneumatic tube lines. The series includes PH, PHF and PHW2 models, covering the standard male elbow, female elbow and double universal male elbow versions.

These fittings are useful when a tube needs to turn close to a valve, cylinder, manifold or small pneumatic device. The adjustable elbow shape helps the tube leave the port in a cleaner direction instead of being forced into a tight bend.

The push-in side connects to pneumatic tubing. The threaded side connects to the equipment port. PH and PHF are used for ordinary universal elbow layouts, while PHW2 is selected when a double universal male elbow body is needed around the port.

Metric tube sizes are shown in millimeters. Inch tube sizes are shown in inch measurements. The code before the dash is the tube outside diameter, and the code after the dash is the thread size. Check both measurements before ordering.

Installation Notes

Cut the tube end flat before installation. Push the tube into the fitting until it reaches the stop inside. After inserting it, pull the tube back lightly to check that it is locked.

When tightening the threaded side, use the metal section instead of twisting the plastic elbow body. After the air line is connected, check the tube side and the thread side for leakage.

Where It Is Used

PH Series universal elbow fittings are often used on cylinders, valve ports, manifolds, pneumatic tools and compact automation equipment. PHW2 is helpful when the tube direction needs more adjustment around a crowded port area.
