POC Series Round Male Straight Push-to-Connect Fitting

A POC round male straight fitting is used to connect a pneumatic tube to a threaded port in a straight direction. It has a push-to-connect tube end on one side and a male thread on the other side.

Compared with a standard plastic-body PC fitting, the POC style uses a round metal body. This shape is useful when the fitting needs a compact outside profile or when the connection area should be more solid and simple.

The fitting can be used with metric or inch pneumatic tube sizes. The tube outside diameter and the thread size should be checked separately before ordering. Common thread options include M, G, PT and NPT types, depending on the equipment port.

How to Choose a POC Round Male Straight Fitting

Start with the tube outside diameter, then confirm the thread size and thread standard. The push-to-connect side must match the pneumatic tube, while the male threaded side must match the port on the valve, cylinder, manifold or other pneumatic component.

Installation Notes

To install it, cut the tube end square and make sure the outside surface is clean. Push the tube fully into the fitting until it reaches the internal stop. Tighten the threaded side with a suitable tool on the metal body. After the air line is connected, increase pressure slowly and check both sides for leakage.
