PU Series Straight Union Push-to-Connect Fitting

A PU straight union is a simple fitting for connecting one air tube to another in a straight line. Both ends are push-in tube connections, so it is mainly used when the tube size on both sides is the same.

In pneumatic piping, this type of fitting is useful when a tube run needs to be lengthened, joined after maintenance, or routed through a machine without adding an elbow or tee. The straight body keeps the air line neat and helps reduce unnecessary bends in the tubing.

To install the fitting, cut the tube end flat and remove any rough edges. Push each tube fully into the fitting until it reaches the internal stop. After insertion, pull back gently to check that the tube is held in place. If the tube needs to be removed, press the release ring evenly and pull the tube out.

PU straight unions are commonly used in automation equipment, air control panels, packaging machines, textile machines and general compressed-air systems. They are suitable for connecting PU, PE or other compatible pneumatic tubing where a straight tube-to-tube connection is required.
