PXT is a male thread five-joint fitting for pneumatic tube lines. It is used when one threaded port needs to supply several tube outlets from a compact Y-style body.

Compared with a straight five-joint block, the PXT shape gives the tube outlets a different direction. I would use this type when the tube route needs to spread out near a valve, manifold, cylinder or small machine panel.

The male threaded side is installed into the equipment port. The tube outlets are push-in connections for pneumatic tube. Before ordering, check the tube outside diameter and the thread size together.

Size Notes

Metric sizes use millimeter tube outside diameter. Inch sizes use inch tube outside diameter. The code after the dash is the thread size.

PXT has fewer listed sizes than some other five-joint fittings, so it is better to check the catalog size before replacing an existing part.

Installation Notes

Cut the tube end flat before inserting it. Push each tube fully into the push-in port, then pull back gently to check that the tube is locked.

Install the male threaded side by the metal section. Do not twist the plastic body too hard. After air pressure is supplied, check all tube outlets and the threaded side for leakage.

PXT male thread five joints are used in pneumatic panels, valve groups, compact equipment and small air distribution points. They are mainly chosen when several tube lines need to leave one threaded port in a compact angled layout.
