PY Series Union Y Push-to-Connect Fittings

PY and PW are Y-style tube fittings used when one pneumatic tube route needs to divide into two branch lines.

PY is the same-size union Y type. All tube ports use the same outside diameter, so it is used when the branch line keeps the same tube size.

PW is the different-diameter union Y type. In some catalogs this style is also listed as PYW. It is used when the tube route needs a Y branch and a size change in the same fitting.

Compared with using a separate reducer and Y fitting, the PW / PYW type keeps the branch point shorter and easier to arrange in a small space.

These fittings are often used around control boxes, small valve groups, air panels, packaging machines and other pneumatic layouts where tubing needs to stay close to the equipment.
