PA Series Inline Pneumatic Flow Control Valve

This PA valve is fitted directly in an air tube line. One tube goes into one side, and the other tube goes into the opposite side.

The small screw on top is for air adjustment. Turn it a little at a time. The air flow will change, and the cylinder or air part connected to that line will move faster or slower.

How to Connect It

Cut the tube end straight. If the cut is not clean, cut it again.

Push the tube into the valve until it stops. Do the same on the other side. Then pull the tubes lightly by hand. They should stay in place.

Before removing a tube, shut off the air. Press the blue ring and pull the tube out straight.

Where It Is Used

This type of valve is used on air cylinders, small machines, packing equipment and simple automation lines.

It is useful when a cylinder moves too quickly, or when the machine needs a small speed adjustment during testing.

Choosing the Right One

Choose the valve by tube outside diameter. A 6 mm tube uses a 6 mm valve. An 8 mm tube uses an 8 mm valve.

Also check the pressure used on the machine. If you are not sure about the size, check the marking on the old tube or measure the tube outside diameter.

Installation Notes

Keep dirt away from the tube end. Do not push the tube in at an angle.

Leave enough room above the valve so the screw can be turned. After air is connected, adjust it slowly. If one side leaks, remove that tube, cut the end again, and push it back in.
