Anti-Spark PU Pneumatic Tubing (TPEE)
Anti-Spark PU Pneumatic Tubing (TPEE)
Some machines are not friendly to normal air tubes.
Welding sparks, cutting dust and hot metal particles can land on the tube. If the tube is ordinary PU, the surface may be damaged faster.
Anti-spark PU tubing is made for this kind of place.
It is still a pneumatic tube, not a metal pipe. You can bend it and route it around the machine. The difference is that the material is made to resist sparks and flame better than normal PU tube.
Where It Makes Sense
Use it near welding stations.
Use it around cutting machines.
Use it on machines where small hot particles may touch the air line.
It is also useful when the tube runs close to metal work areas or automation equipment.
But do not use it as a fireproof pipe. It is not made for direct flame or long heat exposure.
Material Point
This tube uses modified PU material.
It feels firmer than some soft PU tubes, but it can still be installed with common pneumatic fittings.
The anti-spark part is mainly for short contact with sparks or hot particles.
Size Choice
Match the outside diameter with the fitting.
Check the inside diameter for air flow.
Look at the wall thickness too. If the wall is thicker, the tube gets more support, but the inner space becomes smaller.
Before Use
Cut the end straight.
Do not install a tube end that has been burned or crushed.
Push it fully into the fitting.
Try to route the tube away from the hottest area of the machine.
