IP Series metal push-to-connect fittings are metal one-touch pneumatic fittings for tube-to-thread and tube-to-tube air line connections. The series covers metric type and inch type fittings, with IPC, IPCF, IPB, IPL, IPLF and IPX model options.
Applicable tubes include PU tube and PE tube. Common thread options include M, G, PT and NPT, so tube outside diameter and thread type should both be confirmed before ordering.
In small pneumatic equipment, the fitting often has to hold the air tube firmly and fit into a threaded port without taking up much space. The IP Series is made for that kind of layout. It uses a push-to-connect tube end with metal threaded parts, so installation is quick while the connection area stays solid.
The series includes several common shapes. IPC is used for a straight tube-to-male-thread connection. IPCF is the female-thread straight type. IPL changes the tube direction at 90 degrees with a male thread, while IPLF gives the same elbow layout with a female thread. IPB is used when a tube line needs a branch connection near a threaded port. IPX is used as a compact union-style connector within the same metal push-in fitting group.

To choose a model, check the outside diameter of the tube first, then match the thread type and size to the equipment port. Tube size and thread size are not the same measurement. If the fitting is used on imported equipment, also confirm whether the port is metric, G, PT or NPT thread.

For installation, cut the tube square and keep the tube surface clean. Push the tube fully into the fitting until it reaches the internal stop. When tightening the threaded side, use a wrench on the metal section and avoid twisting the plastic release part. After air is supplied, check around the tube and thread sides for leakage.
