典型的なアプリケーション
Use this style of tee where an air line runs across a machine and also needs to connect to a threaded component below it. Common locations include cylinder ports, valve manifolds, assembly fixtures, packaging machinery and compact control panels. It can also provide a neat branch point when two tube directions must share one threaded air port.
Ordering Information
Order the fitting by tube outside diameter and male thread size. A typical code is written as PB06-02, where 06 refers to 6 mm tube and 02 commonly identifies a 1/4-inch thread. Coding varies between manufacturers, so please state the tube OD, thread standard and thread size with your enquiry. Metric tube choices commonly include 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 mm. BSPT, BSPP, NPT and metric threads should not be treated as interchangeable.
FAQ
Is this a flow control valve?
No. The pictured PB fitting has no adjustment needle or knob. It is used to connect and branch an air line.
Are both tube ports the same size?
The usual PB version has two equal push-in ports. Ask us to confirm if a reducing combination is required.
How do I remove the tube?
Shut off and vent the air supply first. Press the blue release ring toward the fitting, then pull the tube out in a straight line.
Does thread sealant need to be added?
That depends on the thread version supplied. Some tapered threads have sealant applied at the factory, while parallel threads may use a sealing washer or O-ring. Confirm the thread type before assembly.
