PL Series Elbow Push-to-Connect Fittings

PL Series fittings are used when a pneumatic tube needs to turn instead of running straight out from a port. The series includes several elbow styles, so the fitting can be matched to the space around the machine, valve, cylinder or control cabinet.

PL is the standard male elbow. PLL gives a longer male elbow body for deeper or less accessible ports. PL-45 is used when a 45-degree outlet angle is better than a right angle. PLF is the female elbow type. PLM is a bulkhead male elbow, used when the connection needs to pass through a panel or mounting plate.

These fittings are commonly used in pneumatic equipment where tube direction, thread position and installation space all matter. Choosing the correct PL type helps keep the air line neat and reduces unnecessary tube bending.

Metric tube sizes are shown in millimeters. Inch tube sizes are shown in inch measurements. For PL, PLL, PL-45 and PLF, check both the tube size and thread size before ordering. For PLM, choose the fitting by the tube outside diameter on both sides.

Benefits & Features

Installation Notes

Cut the tube end flat before pushing it into the fitting. A rough or slanted tube end may affect sealing. Push the tube fully into the fitting, then pull back gently to check that it is locked.

For threaded PL types, match the thread size to the equipment port before installation. For PLM, make sure the panel hole and mounting position are suitable for the bulkhead body. After the air supply is connected, check the tube side and threaded side for leakage.

Where It Is Used

PL Series elbow fittings are used on cylinders, valves, manifolds, pneumatic tools, machine panels and compact automation equipment. PLM is useful for panel-mounted elbow connections where the tube needs to turn near a fixed plate or cabinet wall.
